I called to request an estimate and received a return call within a day from which an appointment was scheduled within a week. The salesman, Derek, was punctual, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful in our decision making process and after presenting the style of window and features available, allowed us to discuss and decide without any pressure. We ordered the window and received a phone call to schedule an installation date. Two of the dates had to be changed due to heavy rains. I appreciate the flexibility they offered to work with our schedule to complete the installation. The installer was very personable and truly a professional in all aspects. The installation of the window was completed, existing wood was capped, and soffit under the window was replaced. The finished window has given a wonderful new look to the front of our home and has added beauty looking through these floor to ceiling lights. As the weather is getting colder, there is a noticeable difference in the warmth of the living room as compared to the old window. We do not have to keep the insulated curtains closed, but now can enjoy the view in great comfort. The full screens in three of the lights will add ventilation in the summer months. This was a longer process than anticipated to no fault of the provider. Lower Macungie Township has VERY specific requirements - including architectural and engineering - for permits and it took over 3 months to get them all. I was very impressed with Eve and her team's diligence while going through the permit process…personally I think I would have just given up! Hats off to them for their perseverance! Once the permit was secured, they were off and running. The entire installation took about 3 weeks, as we lost a little time when the required inspections had to be completed. James stayed on top of the job and was on-site 90% of the time. He took care of everything I asked for and I was fortunate that the gentleman who installed the drywall was also willing to paint for me (not included in the contract) for a nominal fee. The sunroom is beautiful! Eve upgraded us to triple pane glass when she heard that my elderly mother would be the primary User. We are into November and with the help of a small space heater, we are enjoying the room every day very comfortably. My new puppy loves the doggie door and the fenced in yard. I am 98% satisfied! I am confident that the other 2% (one of the screens has a hole - James advised he would order me a new one; one of my sprinkler system hoses was severed when they were installing the fence - it was patched but is not fixed; I did not receive the key to my fence gate and the paint job was messed up a bit during the installation of the doggie door) will get resolved as Eve has been nothing but professional throughout this entire project. Bottom line - this has been the least stressful and most enjoyable construction project I have ever undertaken! I would highly recommend AJ Window & Door Solutions. I have had a number of my neighbors stop by and comment about how good everything looks - hopefully they will get some new business!

From the estimator to the finishing touches, they were courteous, professional, and upfront with all of the details. We were very impressed with the company and the friendliness of everyone. The estimate was lower than others we had received for comparable work. During the installation, the supervisor even made a trip to our home on a Saturday afternoon to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Their work was excellent and done with great care. I contacted AJ Window & Door Solutions for an estimate on a metal roof for my home. The estimate was well under what I had budgeted based on other estimates, so much so that I had them replace seven casement windows in my sunroom with new energy efficient windows. The job was completed very quickly and with much professionalism. I will definitely reach out to AJ Window & Door Solutions in the future when I replace the remaining windows in my home.

I couldn't be happier with the work done. Tim and Joe arrived each morning when they said they would. They always cleaned up after themselves. Were polite and offered great advice. The job was done in one week. Would recommend them highly!! They tore down old wooden walls and screens of my screened in porch and existing ceiling, rebuilt walls, and sided with aluminum. They installed new screens and doors, and a soffit ceiling that followed the roof line (slanted). Hung 2 new ceiling fans with lights. Provided me with a beautiful, maintenance-free screened in porch!

We had a great experience with AJ Windows and Doors. They showed up on time and worked hard everyday. The workers were polite and cleaned up the job every day before they left and once they were finished. I had never worked with AJ before, but read all the positive reviews on Angie's List and decided to get an estimate from them. They were one of three estimates I had and I was very impressed with every aspect of working with them. They had to cut through a brick wall in my dining room to install a sliding glass door. I was worried about getting a huge hole cut into the back of my home. But the installation only took less then a day and they did a great job. They even put all new molding around the interior of the door to match the molding in the room and built stairs leading down to the patio. The new windows look great, and all of my neighbors have already come over to comment on them. I would highly recommend AJ Windows & Door Solutions!

Concerning a new roof.... Tom Ott, the owner of AJ Windows & Door Solutions, gave a good presentation of how he was going to do the job from start to finish. I liked the fact that there were no sub-contractors involved, a family owned business. He went the extra mile to be sure that we were satisfied with the job, even putting a new matching red roof on our dog house. Cleanup was acceptable. The last day, the 3 workers worked a 12 hour shift as to finish the job due to heavy rain coming the next day! And oh yes, the most important thing of all is that I just love my new red roof! And so do a lot of other people that have complimented me on it.

I received excellent service from the time I met the folks at the Lebanon Builders Show, through the salesman, advance man, owners, office staff, and roofers. The work was efficient, expertly done, and completed as contracted. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional. We had some violent wind and rain storms during and after the installation, and there was absolutely no leakage or loss of materials from the wind or rain. Access to the job site was a little tricky but they handled it expertly and took excellent care of my property while removing the old shingles and delivering new materials.

It was back in April that I decided my big summer project would be new windows. After two previous bad experiences with home improvement contractors, I joined Angie's list. I spent many hours reading reviews, and felt confident in my decision to call AJ Window & Door Solutions. Now two weeks after installation, I am very happy that I chose them as my window installer. From the very beginning, it was a good experience. The salesman spent three hours at my house with me on the initial consult, and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. I never had to play phone tag with them, and they called me promptly when the windows arrived for an install date. The whole process went relatively smooth from start to finish. The job I was most worried about was replacing an old bow window with a bay window. I didn't think it could be done! I can't believe I finally have the bay window I've always wanted! Eve and Tom were very courteous and professional. The installers, Bob and Kenny, were two of the hardest working men I've ever had at my house! The installation took a day and a half. They rarely stopped to take a break, and were very diligent about keeping the work area clean both inside and outside the house. Bob was so detail-oriented, I knew he would not be satisfied until the windows were perfect and to my satisfaction. I am very happy with my new windows!

I would recommend AJ Window & Door Solutions to anyone who asks. When we met to discuss replacing my windows, their rep took his time to explain the differences between the windows. They suggested a slider window in the kitchen and dining room which we wouldn't have thought of but now we really like them. There were no surprise hidden costs either. They were completely upfront with cost and financing, which they referred us to PA State financing, where we got a good interest rate. The windows arrived on the week that they said they should. Whenever I had a question, my calls were answered or returned promptly. The installers were excellent as well, and were friendly and courteous. I have a 6 month old puppy and they made sure she did not slip out the door when they were going in and out. They were neat, clean and friendly. We are very happy with AJ Windows and all that they provided for us. You can't go wrong with them!
